Best experience I've ever had in an animal cafe. All are rescues and are adoptable. There is a sweet cat caretaker lady there who can speak English and share with you about the cats and their personalities. Please visit this place if you want your day to get better. I didn't eat there cos I was busy petting the kitties.

This was an amazing place! The cats and the owner were the sweetest! I cannot recommend this place enough if you want an authentic experience with rescue cats who are friendly and playful. I will be recommending this place to my friends and coworkers if they plan on visiting Kyoto.

We had a very nice time at this cat cafe. The cats are very well cared for and all clearly adore the lady running the cat cafe. She was a very nice host with great English. The cats are calm and all rescues. We were able to play with the cats using toys and even feed them some snacks. Each cat has their own favourite snack which is cute. They really know their favourite and it was nice to feed them.

I visited some cat cafes before but this one was definitely special. From the moment I step into this small cafe I immediately felt a very familiar atmosphere. The owner is a very sweet and friendly lady, you can see how deeply she cares for the cats and how much they trust and love her as well. Every cat was relaxed and at ease, it’s such a blessing to see rescued cats being so happy and loved. In a very good English the owner told me many interesting facts about the cats, their personalities and stories. At the end she even recommended me to visit the Nishijin Asagi Museum, which I will definitely do before going back to Switzerland. Thank you so much, the hour I spent in this cafe will be a precious memory of my trip in Japan!

Relaxing atmosphere with rescued cats of all ages from kitten to senior. Run by a lovely lady with excellent English, it's very obvious how much she cares about the cats. They have lots of toys to play with, and a sunbathing ledge which Cha-Cha was enjoying while we were there. You receive a drink included in the 1 hour ¥1000 price, as well as a treat to give to the cats, great value. We had a nice chat with the owner about The Beatles, and received a recommendation to visit the Nishijin Asagi museum of textiles, which we went to also & enjoyed very much. Dai-chan was busy working on the company accounts while we were there - photo attached.

I visited yesterday and it was very nice! The owner clearly cares very much for the cats and told us stories about them. It’s a rather small place that feels a bit more like someone’s home than a cafe, but I enjoyed my visit nonetheless. The place is obviously furnished with the cats in mind, plenty of ledges, cosy blankets, toys etc. which is great! It’s worth to note that there is no food and you are only offered one drink! For me that was absolutely no issue though as I primarily wanted to pet some cats (since I missed my own) and cared more about that the cats were well taken care of than it being a typical cafe visit. The experience was overall very enjoyable! The cats were nice (some more social than others of course) and varied in age from kitten to twelve year old. We paid for an hour (at a very affordable price!) and received some of the cats’ favourite treats to give them. I also loved hearing about their different personalities and how long they’d been with the owner!

I had such a wonderful time here. The owner was so sweet and hospitable that it felt incredibly homey. The cafe manager was super adorable, and all of the cats looked so cozy. I've only been to a couple of cats cafes before, but I think it'll be hard to top this one!! I definitely want to come back

Went with my boyfriend and we honestly both got a bit teary eyed. The cats were more receptive than expected, but the owner (or who I believe is a co-owner!) was wonderful. She’s working so hard for these cats and this cafe so even though the cafe is small it felt so homey. I hope she takes care of herself and that my boyfriend and I can come see some of her rescued cats again or maybe one day adopt. I got to practice my japanese with her and she helped and then took pictures of my boyfriend and I.
